About the Position:

As a Senior Technical Support Specialist, you will join a small, dynamic team of technology professionals, who provide support and expertise to the students, faculty, and staff of Owen Graduate School of Management & Vanderbilt Divinity School. The Ideal candidate will be a self-starter, good communicator and a natural problem solver. Even though desktop/end-user support is the primary role of this position, you will also have the opportunity to interact with some of the most respected figures of education, influencing the technologies that will be used in their research.

About the Department:

As a Senior Technical Support Specialist you will be joining a friendly team of 3 desktop support specialists and 3 system administrators. This team is housed on campus at Owen Graduate School of Management, and takes pride in being part of the Owen and Divinity family. Qualifications andExperience

  • 3-4 years of experience workingan IT support role

  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10,MS Office and Mac OSX (troubleshooting and implementation experience)

  • Experience with system, imageand application management with System Center Configuration Manager

  • The ability to clearlyarticulate technical concepts to end users with various levels oftechnical know-how

  • Conflict resolution skills andan ability to perform under pressure

  • Candidates with a Bachelor’sdegree and high level of professional polish and customer servicepreferred

  • Teaching, mentoringexperience/aptitude preferred.
